West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Steve Sidwell for £3 million.
The 27-year-old has been widely tipped to make a move away from Villa Park, after expressing frustration with regard to his situation at the Birmingham-based club.
It is thought that the ex-Reading man was then told he could leave the club, as the Baggies became interested in availing his services in midfield.
Now The Sun claims that the Black Country side are intent on a £3m move for the Villan before the transfer window closes.
West Brom were previously thought to be chasing Getafe midfielder Derek Boateng as well.
