West Ham United have rejected Roma’s approach to take Valon Behrami on loan.
The Hammers have wanted to offload the Swiss midfielder in order to generate money for new arrivals.
But according to The Daily Mirror, the Serie A runners-up are not prepared to match West Ham’s £3 million valuation for the 25-year-old.
Following the signing of Victor Obinna on Friday, Avram Grant looks set to bolster his squad further before the transfer window shuts next Tuesday.
