Fulham manager Mark Hughes to swoop for Manchester City outcasts Roque Santa Cruz & Shay Given - report

Fulham are believed to have reignited their interest in signing Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz and goalkeeper Shay Given.
The forward is thought to be on the verge of making a move to Italian club Lazio, but the Daily Mail reports that former boss Mark Hughes has come in the way to lure him to Craven Cottage.
It has been reported that the London-based club are looking to sign the Paraguay international on a season-long loan with the option of a permanent transfer.
In the meantime, the Cottagers are thought to be close to losing their Australian shot-stopper Mark Schwarzer to Arsenal, as Goal.com UK previously revealed exclusively that the Gunners have offered the 37-year-old a player-coach deal at the club.
The potential move is believed to have triggered the Cottagers boss to look towards Shay Given as a potential replacement for Schwarzer, as the Republic of Ireland international has been warming the bench at City despite being one of the best in the business in the Premier League.
It is thought that the recent snub in the Europa League - playing Joe Hart against Timisoara - could be the last straw for Given.
