Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be holding talks with AC Milan over a potential season-long loan deal for striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
The former Real Madrid hitman joined the San Siro giants in 2009, after a fee reported to be in the region of £12.3 million changed hands. However, the forward had a difficult time in Italy, and the club are thought to be interested in disposing of him before the summer transfer window closes.
Previous reports pointed towards the Serie A club having offered the player on a loan to Spurs, and now The Mirror claims that chairman Daniel Levy is in talks over a switch for the unwanted striker.
It has been reported that if the loan move should reach fruition, the north London club will also be given the option to purchase the forward for a fee believed to be about £12m.
Theere has been some speculation that the potential arrival of Huntelaar could herald the departure of either Robbie Keane or Roman Pavlyuchenko.
