Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp: Lassana Diarra's wage demands are scuppering move from Real Madrid
Spurs supremo set to miss out on former charge...
By Matt Monaghan
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has ruled out a reunion with Lassana Diarra due to the Real Madrid midfielder's massive wages.
Diarra, 25, rose to prominence when the pair were at Portsmouth after underwhelming spells at Chelsea and Arsenal. With the arrival of Sami Khedira forcing him towards the exit door, Redknapp confirmed the sums requested by his agent to Spurs' chief scout made the move a non-starter when questioned about the France international.
Speaking to skysports.com, he said: "He's on big, big wages at Real Madrid."
