Premier League team news: Aston Villa hand Stephen Ireland debut against unchanged Newcastle United

Aston Villa caretaker-manager Kevin MacDonald has handed a debut to new signing Stephen Ireland, who signed for the club this week from Manchester City as part of the deal taking James Milner to Eastlands.

Ireland takes Milner's place in the Villa midfield, as they line up against a Newcastle United side that is unchanged from Monday's 3-0 defeat at Manchester United.
