Roy Hodgson confirms Javier Mascherano could be fit for Liverpool's trip to Manchester City, Daniel Agger doubtful
Mixed news on injury front for Reds...

The Argentine has been the subject of much speculation about his future in recent days, and also picked up a thigh strain in the draw with Arsenal last weekend. But Hodgson is confident that midfielder will be in action at Eastlands:
"I've got great faith Javier Mascherano will be fit to play the game on Monday," the Reds boss told reporters after his side's 1-0 Europa League win over Trabzonspor on Thursday evening.
"He took part in a training session today and has made a quicker recovery than we could have even hoped for. There's still four more days, so I would be very disappointed if he is unable to play."
The news was less positive regarding Daniel Agger though, who received a relatively serious bang on the hand in the game with the Gunners and has been suffering with concussion.
"Daniel Agger is very positive and tells me he will be okay to play but I must take some medical advice on that because I wouldn't want to put his health at risk. Concussion is a very serious injury - I may have to listen to the doctors as well as Daniel," he added.
"If it's up to Daniel, he's telling me already, to count him in on Monday."
