Blackpool not letting chairman Karl Oyston's resignation affect future plans
Chief to remain on a temporary basis...
By Adithya Ananth
Oyston stepped down from his position at the club on Wednesday, following prior comments admitting he was concerned with the business practices of clubs, players and agents in the Premier League.
Now, however, the club have maintained that the 43-year-old will continue as an acting chief executive until the end of the season, or when an adequate replacement is found.
"During this time he will continue to work closely with the manager, Ian Holloway, on player recruitment and to oversee the continued development and reconstruction of the stadium," reads a statement from the club.
"The club would like to emphasise that there will be no interruption in the recruitment of players or the work required on the stadium."
