Shay Given willing to quit Manchester City while pondering switch to Arsenal or Fulham - report
Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given is reportedly willing to walk away from the club due to his situation at Eastlands.
The former Newcastle United shot-stopper is thought to have made the trip to Romania with the rest of the squad in the hope of getting a look in during the game against Timisoara in a Europa League qualifier that takes place on Thursday.
Now the Daily Express claims that Given is livid with regard to his situation, after learning that Joe Hart will be the one to start the game.
It has also been reported that the 34-year-old is now thinking about a loan move to either Arsenal or Fulham.
The Gunners have been chasing Mark Schwarzer, and offered the veteran a player-coach deal as Goal.com UK exclusively revealed. And depending on whether or not this potential move reaches fruition, a vacancy could exist at either club — one Given might well end up filling.
