West Ham United midfielder Valon Behrami interested in Roma move
No problem representing former club's arch-enemies, says midfielder...
By Adithya Ananth
The Switzerland international cites the displeasure of his family as the reason behind his choice, insisting that the lifestyle in London does not suit their requirements.
But having already played for Lazio - the arch-rivals of his potential employers - Behrami believes that he will have no problem slotting in under the care of coach Claudio Ranieri.
"There is interest in me from Roma, but nothing concrete so far, and so I'm still at West Ham," said Behrami, according to the Daily Mail.
"I would have no problem playing for Roma despite being ex-Lazio. I am a professional, and I always give my best.
"My daughter Sofia is now 18 months old, and it is not easy to bring a child up in London. Besides, Elena does not feel happy. She does not have a big circle of friends over there."
