Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov believes that the club will recover if midfield star James Milner moves to Manchester City this summer.
The England midfielder is set to move to City in a deal that would see Villa recieve about £18 million and Stephen Ireland from the Eastlands club.
It is the second straight year that Villa have lost a star midfielder to City in the transfer window, but Petrov believes that the club can bounce back from losing another big player.
"Hopefully that's going to be sorted out, we can get the money and spend it on some other players,” Petrov told The Mirror.
"Everybody's replaceable, we let Gareth Barry go last year, as long as you replace them with another good player, it's great.
"I'll be happy if we bring in players like we did last year with Richard Dunne, James Collins and Stephen Warnock.
"They got in and they were outstanding for us and we'll wait for the last three days again if we pick the same quality that will be great.”
