Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has rubbished reports he is chasing the £4 million signature of Sporting Lisbon attacker Yannick Djalo.
Djalo, 24, had been rumoured to be on the Spurs supremo's shopping list as he looks to bolster his squad for their debut Champions League campaign.
After impressing against them in a pre-season friendly in the United States, a move for Djalo was believed to be imminent as a replacement for Robbie Keane, who has been linked with a move away from the club.
However, speaking after last night's 1-0 victory against Benfica, Redknapp dismissed rumours he was set to bring the ex-Portugal under-21 international to White Hart Lane.
He told reporters: "It's not true.
"I believe he's a good player, but he is not and never has been in our plans."
