All of us want Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas to join Barcelona - Andres Iniesta
Midfielder staying motivated ahead of new season...
By Adithya Ananth
The Catalan club have made no bones about their desire to sign the 23-year-old midfielder, but the Gunners have thus far remained resolute with regard to holding on to their prized asset.
With less than a month to go before the curtain is drawn on the transfer window, the World Cup winning midfielder remains hopeful that the two clubs in question could yet come to an agreement over a potential transfer.
"We all want him to come because he will help us to go up a level - he's very complete," Iniesta told Barca TV.
"However, he belongs to Arsenal and the two clubs must understand each other [in order for a deal to be done]."
Switching from a potential signing to one that has already been made, Iniesta insisted that new arrival David Villa will have a positive time with his new team-mates.
"He will be very happy here - Barcelona's style of play is very well suited to him," he said.
The 26-year-old has racked up a plethora of medals in his career thus far, even conquering Europe with club and country before winning the World Cup.
However, the midfielder maintains that he still has the motivation necessary to continue winning and achieve a lot more than what he has so far.
"If we don't win titles, it won't be because we have already won lots," he said. "The new season is a stimulus and a motivation.
"I'm going to work hard in every training session and every game to make it a great season."
