West Ham manager Avram Grant insists Tottenham target Scott Parker is going nowhere

West Ham United boss Avram Grant has made it clear that captain Scott Parker is not for sale and will remain at Upton Park.
Midfielder Parker has been attracting a number of Premier League clubs including Tottenham, who have had a bid turned down already, as well as Liverpool and Aston Villa.
However Grant is adamant that he can keep hold of Parker and insists that the former Charlton, Chelsea and Newcastle man is in his long term plans.
"Yes, he is staying at the club," Grant told Sky Sports News.
"He is a good player and it doesn't surprise me that many good teams would want him as he could play for any team in the Premier League.
"But we have plans for next season, not for one season for all the team. We have a vision about the club to have West Ham in a good place and good football and he is a big important part for this project."
Grant was also asked about the possibility of Tottenham making a further bid for Parker, but insisted the saga was at an end.
"I think they don't have to make a bid because we make it very, very clear that Scott Parker will stay with us," he added.
