Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson quiet on Luke Young and Maxi Rodriguez rumours
Reds boss refuses to comment on speculation…

The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for Aston Villa defender Luke Young, while Argentine midfielder Maxi Rodriguez is reportedly wanted by Espanyol.
Villa boss Martin O’Neill has confirmed that Young is pondering a switch to an unnamed club, but Hodgson would not confirm or deny the rumours.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Hodgson told reporters: "They are not playing tomorrow."
Young is expected to join Liverpool as a replacement for left-back Emiliano Insua, who looks set to move to Fiorentina, but Hodgson would not elaborate on the Argentine’s current situation.
"No information to be given about that," he said.
Premier League clubs each have to name a 25-man squad by the end of the summer transfer window, eight of whom must be home-grown, and when asked about the difficulties of trying to sign English players, Hodgson stressed the point that he was there to discuss their Europa League qualifier.
He said: "We're changing the subject. I don't think it's right in a room full of Macedonian journalists to be talking about things like home-grown rules and English players.
"I think we should be talking about the game, because that is what interests people.
"The subjects you are bringing up now are subjects for a future press conference.
"It is quite important in these last seven minutes that the questions I try to answer, and I gladly will for the Macedonians, will be about the football match tomorrow and not things like systems of play and future transfer targets or the long-term future of English football."
