Italian’s agent provides latest on transfer saga…
By Danny Hart
The youngster has been linked with a move to Eastlands over the last few weeks, with some reports suggesting a deal is already in place between the two clubs.
However, Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola has confirmed that a deal is still some way off being completed.
He told Ansa news agency: "Nothing has been signed between Balotelli and Manchester City and I doubt anything will be in the next few days."
Gazzetta dello Sport claimed Balotelli held a farewell party in Milan over the weekend before signing a five-year deal with City worth €4 million (£3.35m) a year.
The report also suggested the Italian would move to Eastlands for €30m (£25.1m), which could rise to €35m (£29.3m), and could even turn out for City against Inter in the latest of their pre-season games in America.
