Derby County manager Nigel Clough has poured cold water on reports suggesting that Rob Hulse could be on his way to Blackpool.
The Premier League newcomers were previously believed to have lodged a £1 million bid to secure the services of the 30-year-old striker.
But the Rams' boss insists that the two parties have had no contact concerning the potential transfer of the former Sheffield United forward, who has also played for Leeds United, West Bromwich Albion and Crewe Alexandra.
"We have had no contact from Blackpool," Clough told the press.
"There seems to have been speculation about Rob since we arrived at the club. In January he was going, then again in the summer. It has been every transfer window.
"But Rob is a great professional and he just gets on with it."
