Initial contact with Manchester City has just been made over Inter's Maicon - agent
Antonio Caliendo has not heard from the Eastlands club over the Brazilian...
By Rick D'Andrea
City have been linked to the 28-year-old since the end of last season, but have only now decided to ask about the Brazilian.
"At the moment, I can say that Manchester City are interested in the player," Antonio Caliendo revealed to TMW.
"Though, we are still at the start, with only initial contact being made."
Maicon has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid, where he would be joining former Inter boss Jose Mourinho, who moved after the Nerazzurri claimed a treble of trophies including the Champions League.

Did you know... Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes are both in the starting XI of a Prem League match more than 18 years after their first PL start together in Nov 1994. And also, Wayne Rooney has scored more Prem League goals this season (15) than the entire starting XI of Liverpool today (12).
Free feel to regurgitate those ones at the pub later. No need to thank me.
Welcome to Old Trafford, where Luis Suarez has just received a taster of what’s to come as he left the pitch following Liverpool’s warm-up. ‘You racist b******’ chanted the United fans in the Stretford End towards the Uruguayan, who will be public enemy No. 1 here today. The frosty and overcast in Manchester as the stands fill up with around 10 minutes until kick-off. There’s plenty of excitement here in the press box about a fixture described by Sir Alex Ferguson as United’s ‘main derby’ - especially with the added incentive for the hosts of going to the top of the Premier League ahead of City’s game tomorrow.
