On Tuesday we asked you which position Carlo Ancelotti should look to improve in his Chelsea squad, and with the results in, your decision was unanimous.
There are further calls for the Stamford Bridge outfit to embrace youth within the squad, with 16.47 per cent feeling that is the way forward, while further defensive cover and an extra goalkeeper are regarded as needless additions, receiving 4.66 and 0.88 per cent of the votes respectively.
Here’s a run through of the players on top of the fans most wanted list...
CHELSEA FANS’ MOST WANTED | THE MIDFIELD
"Schweinsteiger would be great in midfield along with the star in the making Oezil."

"I would love to see Sami Khedira of germany in the chelsea team, he had a great World Cup"
Nadir Ahmed | London
"I don't think we need anymore new players except maybe for Schweinsteiger."
YK | Melbourne
Having disposed of one German international this summer, you’ve called on the club to look towards some of Germany’s stars of the World Cup finals in South Africa.
Bayern Munich’s Bastian Schweinsteiger has been tabled as the ideal candidate to replace Michael Ballack, after his dominating displays in the heart of Joachim Loew’s midfield.
The player himself has recently admitted that he would consider a move away from the Champions League finalists:
“I am not married to Bayern,” Schweinsteiger insisted.
"The Bundesliga is great, and has become more important, but if I were to move on then, of course, the idea of going abroad is what excites me."
Mesut Oezil and Sami Khedira are players who you see as natural long-term replacements for Chelsea’s aging stars. The creative Oezil has been cited as a creative spark and goalscoring midfielder who could eventually replace Frank Lampard in the Chelsea line-up, with his immediate capture supplementing the side’s attacking guile following Joe Cole’s depature.
As for Khedira, who scored Germany’s winning goal in the third-place playoff against Uruguay, he is seen as the another potential replacement for Ballack, should the club be unsuccessful in the their reported pursuit of Schweinsteiger.
THE FINAL DEBATE
Tomorrow we will unveil the star signing which YOU hope to see plying their trade at Stamford Bridge in the midfield next season, so who will be in it?
Schweinsteiger or Khedira, who will play in the midfield? Or will you opt for Oezil — the choice is yours.
