Anderlecht have declared starlet Romelu Lukaku is not set for a move to Chelsea and will stay at the club until he turns 18.
The Blues have chased the striker's signature since he made his debut at just 16. Despite competition from AC Milan, Real Madrid and Arsenal, the 17-year-old has been reported to be poised for a move to the Premier League champions.
After grabbing 15 goals in 25 Jupiter League appearances last term, the chase for the Belgium international has only increased. However, father Roger - a former player who also represents him - has stated his son has no intention of leaving the Constant Vanden Stock Stadion until he finishes his education in a year's time.
Even though recent pictures have emerged of the giant centre forward in a Chelsea kit, this message was repeated again by Anderlecht's general manager when speaking to the Daily Mail.
"We have a very good relationship with Romelu's father, and he is as keen as we are for him to finish his schooling here," said Herman van Holsbeech.
"He has another year to go, and that is another reason why we have no intention of selling him this summer.
"All parties agree it is in his best interests to continue as an Anderlecht player next season."
