Besiktas have re-ignited their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Guti, who is wanted by Blackburn, according to reports in Spain.
The Turkish giants are close to completing a deal for the Spanish international after having a large bid turned down for Brazilian attacker Robinho, reports Defensa Central.
Negotiations have been ongoing for some time and now Guti's representatives have flown to Turkey in a attempt to finalise a deal.
It is believed Besiktas will pay €3 million [£2.4m] a year to the 33-year-old, offering him a two-year deal.
Guti has also attracted attention from Zenit in Russia, with coach Luciano Spalletti monitoring the situation closely.
Guti has made 387 appearances for Los Blancos but has suprisingly only represented Spain 14 times.
