Liverpool refuse West Bromwich Albion loan offer for David Ngog - report
By Zack Wilson
Liverpool have turned down an offer from West Bromwich Albion to take striker David Ngog on loan next season, according to a report from The Daily Mail.
Baggies boss Roberto di Matteo wanted the young Frenchman for the whole of the campaign at The Hawthorns.
However, the Reds have blocked the move as they could be short of strikers when the new season starts in a few weeks' time.
The Reds apparently want to bring in two new strikers before the season begins, and there are still major doubts about the future of Fernando Torres, who also picked up another groin injury playing for Spain in the World Cup final on Sunday.
