The agent of Ghana World Cup 2010 star Kwadwo Asamoah has confirmed Arsenal and Manchester City are among a trio of Premier League clubs after his client.
Asamoah, 21, played a key role in the Black Star's march to the quarter-final stage and this form has attracted interest from across Europe. Both City and the Gunners are in the market for midfield reinforcements, and agent Claudio Vagheggi told Sport.co.uk they had registered their interest in the Udinese player.
He said: “There is interest from a number of clubs. A move to the Premier League is a possibility for the player. But, he [Kwadwo Asamoah] has four years left on his contract with Udinese.
“There are two or three clubs from the Premier League interested in Asamoah. Manchester City and Arsenal are the two most important clubs. He is happy to play in the Premier League and I think he would do very well there.”
