Blackpool consider move for Newcastle United midfielder Nicky Butt - report

Newly-promoted Blackpool are considering a move for veteran Newcastle United midfielder Nicky Butt, according to Sky Sports.
The 35-year-old midfielder left Newcastle at the end of last season after his contract expired, and is currently thought to be considering whether to hang up his boots or have one last shot at playing in the Premier League.
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway is currently looking for reinforcements as his side prepare for their first season in the Premier League, and Butt would offer substantial top flight experience.
Ipswich and Preston North End are both reportedly interested in the former Manchester United player, but the lure of Premier League football could prove too much for Butt if Blackpool come calling.
