Barcelona will not 'go crazy' to sign Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas this summer - president Sandro Rosell
Barca will be sensible in pursuit of playmaker...

New Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has insisted that the Spanish champions will not ‘go crazy’ in their attempts to sign Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas this summer.
Fabregas is currently embroiled in a long-running transfer saga, with his boyhood club Barca conducting a very public transfer pursuit in a bid to secure his return to Camp Nou.
It currently looks unlikely that a resolution will be reached in the near future, and Fabregas, who initially said he would be delighted to join Barca, recently admitted he may well remain at the Emirates Stadium.
In the latest twist to the saga, Rosell has insisted his club will not pay over the odds in their bid to sign Fabregas, who is currently representing Spain in the World Cup.
"We don't like to shout about signings but this one came out three months ago,” Rosell said at a press conference.
“We have to recognise that it's under negotiation, and we will continue negotiating, but we aren't going to go crazy.
“If Arsenal want to talk to us we will talk, but we'll never pay a price that we believe is unfair."
Fabregas has not played a major role for the Spaniards, and is yet to start a match for the European champions in South Africa.
Barcelona have already secured the signing of Fabregas’ international team-mate David Villa from Valencia this summer, but have funds to burn after the big-money sale of Yaya Toure to Manchester City on Friday.
