Tottenham Hotspur set to swoop for ex-Arsenal loanee Julio Baptista - report

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is set to cast aside the north London rivalry with Arsenal by launching a bid for Julio Baptista.
'The Beast' spent the 2006/07 season on-loan with the Gunners from Real Madrid. He has since failed to make an impression for Roma even though he is part of Dunga's Brazil World Cup 2010 squad.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Spurs supremo is set to bid £4 million for the attacker as he looks to bolster his squad for the Champions League but is is expected to face competition from Steve McLaren's Wolfsburg for the Samba star.
