thumbnail Hello,

Former Middlesbrough man commits his future...

Birmingham City right-back Stuart Parnaby has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

Parnaby had ended last season uncertain over his future, but with his previous deal due to expire Birmingham manager Alex McLeish has deemed the former Middlesbrough defender worthy of a new twelve-month contract.

Parnaby, who began his career as a Middlesbrough academy graduate, made 91 appearances for the Championship club before completing the switch to the Midlands in 2007.

The right-back has played 42 times for Birmingham but last season saw Parnaby relegated to the bench due to the impressive form of former Ireland international Stephen Carr.
