Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia claims he isn’t worried about stories linking the Gunners with several other shot-stoppers.

The 33-year-old Spaniard has been regularly criticised for his performances this season and this has led to boss Arsene Wenger searching for a new ‘keeper, according to reports.

However, despite the reports, Almunia insists he isn’t worried about his position at the club.

"I have a deal signed with Arsenal and nobody at the club has given me a reason to question my future," Almunia said in The People.

"So I am not worried about the situation. I have seen what the papers are saying but I do not think it affects me.

"I am resting now and watching the World Cup, and then I will return in July to work with the rest of the squad."

Many reports suggest that Wenger could move for experienced Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer as a replacement as the number one 'keeper at the Emirates.
