Return to Russia on the cards...Tottenham Hotspur striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is at a "crossroads" in his career and has no idea whether he wants to stay at the club, his agent has revealed.
The 28-year enjoyed a rollercoaster campaign in north London last season, as he found himself out of the starting lineup in the early months before firing in the goals to get the team into the Champions League qualifiers.
Both Stoke City and Lokomotiv Moscow have been linked with £11 million bid since, while Spurs have been linked with summer moves for a string of top-class strikers. It is unknown whether Spurs manager Harry Redknapp wants to keep him in his squad.
Speaking to the press, Oleg Artemov confirmed no decision had yet been made about his client's future.
"Right now, Roman is on holiday," Artemov said.
"He doesn't want to think about football in general, let alone the particulars of his future. So the situation isn't clear.
"Pavlyuchenko could leave Tottenham but it depends on many factors. We need to all sit down and talk together calmly: Roman and I, Spurs and of course Harry Redknapp. It's still not known whether he needs Pavlyuchenko or not.
"The main problem is in Roman's head. He is now at a crossroads and he needs to make a choice.
"So far Pavlyuchenko has not decided whether he wants to stay at Tottenham, go to another European club or return to Russia."
