Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Mick McCarthy: 'We had most of the play' against Hull City
Boss feels Wolves could have taken more from game...
By Michael Landon
Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink opened the scoring in the first half. An own goal by Anthony Gardner drew Wolves level in the second, but Hull went back into the lead when Stephen Hunt converted a penalty kick before Matthew Jarvis struck to draw the scores level at two goals apiece.
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy believes his side deserved more from the encounter, despite scoring two goals.
"I believe we had the most of the play apart from free-kicks and corners which they definitely put us under pressure [with] because they have got some big lads and good deliveries," he told Sky Sports.
"[But] I feel we had the best of the game, even right at the end of the game we had a free kick where we could have won it."
The result means both sides stay as they were in the Premier League table, with Hull in 19th position and Wolves one point above the relegation zone in 17th.
