The Belgian striker has scored eight goals for Palace since his £30m move but may be forced out of the club in order to raise funds for other targets

Sam Allardyce is pondering a January exit for Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke in order to raise cash for additional incomings, according to the Mirror.

The Eagles splashed £30 million on the former Aston Villa and Liverpool forward in a club record-breaking deal in August, but new boss Allardyce is keen to raise funds to reshape his squad and may be forced to place Benteke on the transfer list.

Palace are said to be reluctant to sell the Belgian striker, who has scored eight goals in his 18 Premier League appearances this season, though it may be necessary if Allardyce pursues other targets as Norwich's Robbie Brady and Leicester's Jeffrey Schlupp.
