The Gunners are reportedly in pole position to land Portuguese youngster Domingos Quina, who is currently on their London rivals' books but hasn't committed to a scholarship deal
Arsenal are confident of beating a number of Premier League clubs to the signing of 16-year-old Portuguese youngster Domingos Quina, according to The Telegraph.
Quina is currently on Chelsea's books after the west Londoners signed him from Benfica when he was 13, but it's understood that he hasn't committed to a scholarship deal.
He cannot sign professional terms with Arsenal until he turns 17, meaning any deal he inks with Arsenal will reflect that.
Quina, who was born in Guinea-Bissau but brought up in Portugal, currently plays for the latter's Under-17s side and operates as a No. 10.
