The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane and would be reunited with Harry Redknapp at Loftus Road if he completes his move
Queens Park Rangers are attempting to push through a loan deal to sign Sandro from Tottenham before the transfer window closes on Monday.
Harry Redknapp worked with the player during his time as Spurs manager and Goal understands he is hopeful of agreeing a loan move after Sandro fell down the pecking order at White Hart Lane.
The Brazilian would prefer a move to Serie A club Napoli but is desperate for first-team football having found himself out of favour under new Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.
QPR have also been trying to reach an agreement with Spurs over a permanent deal for Aaron Lennon but the winger is reluctant to move to Loftus Road while the clubs have been some way apart in negotiations over the transfer fee.
Redknapp’s priority for deadline day is to sign a replacement striker for Loic Remy and he has been strongly linked with a bid for Jermain Defoe, another former Tottenham player, who is available for transfer from Toronto.
Goal believes Defoe's former club West Ham are battling with the Rs to bring the striker back to the Premier League.
