Crystal Palace have made a move to sign Tottenham exile Zeki Fryers, Goal can reveal.
The Eagles want to sign Fryers, who is yet to make a single appearance for Spurs this season and has been informed he is not in new manager Mauricio Pochettino's plans, on a permanent deal.
However, Palace would also consider a loan deal for the 21-year-old, who moved to White Hart Lane in a £3 million deal from Standard Liege in January 2013 but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by.
Palace are working hard to secure signings in the final few days of the transfer window to provide new boss Neil Warnock with a squad capable of keeping the club in the Premier League for a second successive season.
Speaking to Sky Sports Newson Thursday, Palace co-owner Steve Parish said: "There's plenty more work to do.
"We've got the transfer window closing on Monday and I think he'd want to bring a few in, so hopefully we've got some more good news for supporters in the next few days."
