thumbnail Hello,

After voicing his admiration for the 26-year-old last week, the striker's former Manchester United team-mate has again expressed confidence the Mexican would do well in Serie A

Nemanja Vidic has again urged new club Inter to make a move for his former Manchester United team-mate Javier Hernandez in their search for a new striker.

The Giuseppe Meazza side are keen to add some more firepower to their squad this summer and have been linked with players such as Fernando Torres, Edin Dzeko and Hernandez in the past few months.

Vidic spoke last week of his admiration for the Mexico interntional and has now reiterated his confidence that Hernandez is the right man for the San Siro side.

"Chicharito has done some great things and scored decisive goals for Manchester United, in particular under Sir Alex Ferguson," Vidic was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"He is a very strong striker, a traditional No.9 who has an eye for goal.

"But in the end it's [sporting director] Piero Ausilio's decision and he knows what he's doing."

The 26-year-old joined United from Guadalajara in the summer of 2010 and has since made over 100 Premier League appearances for the Old Trafford side.

Hernandez's current contract with the 2012-13 champions is due to expire in the summer of 2016.
