The 67-year-old signed the Dutchman during his time at Tottenham in 2010 and believes the player could score 12 goals in an attacking-midfield role at Loftus RoadQPR manager Harry Redknapp has revealed he is interested in signing Hamburg midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.
The 67-year-old, who signed the Dutchman during his reign at Tottenham in 2010, has admitted that he is keen to bolster his squad with a new attacking midfielder this summer.
QPR have already completed moves Rio Ferdinand and Steven Caulker this summer and Redknapp believes the acquisition of the 31-year-old would bring “class” to Loftus Road.
“He’s a great footballer, great professional and a goalscorer. He’d get you 10 to 12 goals a year in that position,” Redknapp told West London Sport.
“I like Rafa. He’s an interesting player and has got class.”
