The 32-year-old believes his former Manchester United team-mate would be a "good signing" for the Serie A club this summer
The Mexico international joined up with Louis van Gaal’s squad for their pre-season tour of the United States earlier this week, although his future at Old Trafford remains unclear after starting just six Premier League games last season.
And Vidic, who joined Inter this summer after spending eight years at United, believes his former team-mate would be a welcome arrival at the Serie A club.
"These things are up to clubs,” Vidic told reporters.
“Obviously, Chicharito will be a good signing for every club and we'd be glad to have him.
“Now we have to focus on this group to get the Europa League qualification. It's not the Champions League but it's a very nice competition with a lot of good European teams.”
