The offensively-minded right-back had previously been linked with a move to Premier League outfit Arsenal but sealed a switch to the French champions on Wednesday evening, after passing a medical earlier in the day.
"Serge Aurier, a great hope of world football who was courted by leading clubs, has chosen Paris Saint-Germain to assert himself on the European scene," club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi enthused.
"We are particularly pleased to welcome this young player in our team."
Aurier, for his part, is eyeing a lengthy stay at the Parc des Princes, revealing that he has long had his heart set on a move to the French capital.
"To play with Paris Saint-Germain's exceptional players is a childhood dream," the 21-year-old defender revealed. "I'll give my best to help the team reach the top."
Aurier, who starred for Cote d'Ivoire at this summer's World cup in Brazil, will wear the No.19 jersey at PSG.
