Former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt believes Luis Suarez will remain with the Anfield outfit despite interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs.

13/2 Liverpool are 13/2 with bet365 to win the title next season
Having finished as the Premier League's top scorer last season with 31 goals, reports have linked the Uruguay forward with moves to Spanish rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona.

But Kuyt, who made over 200 league appearances in six years with the Merseyside outfit, believes the prospect of playing Champions League football will see Suarez remain with Brendan Rodgers's side.

"I think Luis has done a great job in the last couple of years," he told reporters.

"He’s had some problems off the pitch. He did an amazing job last year at Liverpool and people can see what he’s done at the World Cup.

"It’s important that they are in the Champions League next season. I don’t see him leaving for another club. I think he will play in the Champions League with Liverpool."
