The 21-year-old is being continually linked with a move to Juventus but the midfielder's representative says his client would thrive at the Stadio OlimpicoMarco Verratti's agent believes that Roma manager Rudi Garcia "would be an ideal coach" for the Paris Saint-Germain playmaker.
The Italy international joined the Ligue 1 outfit from Palermo two years ago and last August signed a contract extension that binds him to the Parc des Princes outfit until 2018.
However, Verratti is continually being linked with a return to his homeland and his representative, Donato Di Campi, has now stated that his client would thrive at the Stadio Olimpico.
"I could easily see him at Roma," the agent is quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport. "For him, Garcia would be an ideal coach.
"But we're talking about a utopian situation."
The 21-year-old Verratti has been included in Cesare Prandelli's provisional Italy squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
