thumbnail Hello,

The Italy international has been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu side and he admits it is 'flattering' to be followed by Los Blancos

AC Milan defender Mattia De Sciglio feels flattered that Real Madrid are allegedly keeping tabs on him and has admitted that he would be open to a move abroad if his current club were to decide to cash in on him.

The 21-year-old is regarded as one of the best young defenders in Serie A and Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is believed to be a keen admirer of the full-back.

De Sciglio has stressed that he's not thinking about a transfer for now, but he has acknowledged that his future lies in Milan's hands.

"It's clear that it's flattering when big clubs like Real Madrid are following me," he told Sky Sport 24.

"If Milan were to ask me if I would be open to a sale for economical reasons, I would obviously take any offers into consideration.

"You never know what will happen.

"However, what I'm hoping for is to be part of a more competitive Milan again in the future."
