Fiorentina coach Vicenzo Montella has declared himself satisfied with the club's January dealings after bringing four new faces to the club.
The Viola have signed midfielder Anderson, from Manchester United and defender Modibo Diakite from Sunderland, whilst also adding Antonio Rosati and Alessandro Matri to their ranks in a productive month of transfer business.
And Montella believes the former Premier League duo will add vital missing ingredients to his squad as they aim to qualify for the Champions League.
“Diakite has the physicality that we were missing,” Montella said at a press conference ahead of this weekend's trip to Cagliari.
“Anderson can play a little of everything. In our method of play that is ideal. Based on our assessments, we believe he can play around 30 minutes this weekend."
Fiorentina currently trail third-placed Napoli by three points in Serie A.
