Aaron Ramsey's latest injury setback has prompted a renewed search for midfielders but does Arsene Wenger still need a new centre forward most? Goal wants your thoughts
Chasing a Premier League title that looks much closer than it has for some time, this could be a crucial January for Arsenal.
So far there has been little confirmed movement at the Emirates Stadium but the latest injury to Aaron Ramsey plus the continued worries over Jack Wilshere's ankle may have changed Arsene Wenger's priorities.
Julian Draxler of Schalke has been their main target for much of January and, as exclusively revealed by Goal on Sunday, the Gunners sent negotiators out to Germany to haggle for both the forward and Frankfurt right-back Sebastian Jung.
Draxler is seen as a prime candidate to be developed into a centre forward to provide an alternative to Olivier Giroud, whose only back-up as things stand is Nicklas Bendtner and youngster Yaya Sanogo.
But does the injury to Ramsey mean that Wenger must focus on midfield options such as Paris Saint-Germain's Blaise Matuidi and long-time target Morgan Schneiderlin of Southampton?
Or is Jung the most important pursuit of the three, with Bacary Sagna yet to agree a deal to stay in north London beyond the end of his contract in the summer?
Do you think that Draxler or another centre forward should remain Arsenal's top priority this January? Or does the injury to Ramsey necessitate a rethink?
