Paris Saint-Germain playmaker Marco Verratti claims he had no qualms about departing Ligue 1 for Juventus as he would not have been given playing time with the Italian giants.
Verratti joined les Parisiens from Pescara in 2012 and has since established himself as an important part of the Ligue 1 champions' midfield set-up alongside Blaise Matuidi and Thiago Motta.
Prior to his switch to Parc des Princes, following an impressive and league-winning campaign in Serie B, the Italy starlet had the chance to join the current Serie A champions Juventus, but insists he would likely have been sent out on loan had he opted to stay in Serie A.
"It wasn't so difficult to turn down Juventus. I would not have played. They would have sent me out on loan," he told Journal du Dimanche.
"PSG allowed me to play instead. I had no doubts and in a week it was all over."
Verratti has made 23 appearances in all competitions for PSG this season.
