Patrice Evra has dropped the biggest hint yet that he will leave Manchester United at the end of the season, so who would be your first choice to replace the left-back?
United manager David Moyes revealed in September that the champions pursued Everton and England full-back Leighton Baines for much of the summer - with the Toffees' reluctance to sell holding up Marouane Fellaini's eventual move.
Baines recently deputised for Ashley Cole as England secured their place in next summer's World Cup, assisting Wayne Rooney's opening goal against Poland, after consistently impressing domestically - notching eight goals and nine assistants last season alone.
It must not be forgotten, though, that United have left-back Alexander Buttner already at the club - although he has made just 14 appearances since arriving last summer - and the 24-year-old insisted Moyes considers him part of his first-team plans.
Elsewhere, other possible options include Southampton star Luke Shaw - with Goal understanding United are very keen on capturing the youngster - while Moyes also made a move for Real Madrid's Fabio Coentrao.
Would Everton allow Baines to leave next summer? Are Buttner or Shaw good enough? Let us know your thoughts by voting in our poll and leaving your comments below. You can also get in touch via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
