Hamburg have made a £2.6 million move for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner, Goal understands.
The Bundesliga outfit are ready to hold talks with the Danish forward, who has long been surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium and has been told he can find a new club.

The 25-year-old has already rejected offers from five different clubs this summer, including Malaga and Frankfurt, after failing to agree personal terms.
Bendtner, whose Arsenal contract runs until 2015, is no longer part of Arsene Wenger’s plans and has been completely frozen out by the manager.
However, the Gunners have had difficulty selling him over the last two years following unproductive season-long loans at Sunderland and Juventus.
Arsenal would prefer to sell Bendtner rather than loan him out again and have placed a £2.6m valuation on the player.
Hamburg have already taken Gunners defender Johan Djourou on loan this summer, though he has not yet played for the club.
