Anzhi Makhachkala attacking midfielder Willian is interesting a host of Premier League clubs this summer, including Liverpool and Tottenham.
The 25-year-old is expected to make a decision on his future on Tuesday evening, with the Reds favourites to sign the Brazilian.
Liverpool are confident of beating Spurs and other interested parties to his signature and have lodged a bid worth €30 million (£25.6m). The Reds are also reported to be willing to match his £85,000-a-week salary.
Reports overnight suggested that Tottenham were in pole position to sign the Brazilian but Brendan Rodgers's side are now favourites.
Arsenal are in the market for three or four players and, with Luis Suarez looking more and more likely to stay at Liverpool, the Gunners have got the funds to sign a player like Willian. With winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain set for a length absence with a knee injury, might Willian be a perfect fit at the Emirates Stadium?
Having missed out on signing Cesc Fabregas, Manchester United could bolster their midfield by making a move for the Brazil international. Or have the Red Devils got a good enough squad already?
