Rooney played for over an hour on Wednesday night as England beat Scotland 3-2 at Wembley, despite having missed the Premier League champions' recent pre-season games with a shoulder injury.

"[There have been] No more developments, we don't want any more developments because we've told everybody - which I've said before - he's not for sale," he told Sky Sports News.
The Scot was impressed with the contribution of the striker, who was substituted in the second half by Roy Hodgson.
He added: "I watched the game last night and I thought for the 65 minutes or so that he played he done [did] well. He ran around, got himself some fitness, but it certainly was his first real outing in any real competitive game."
Moyes also indicated that United - who have missed out on signing Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona - are "working hard" to sign players before the season starts.
"I'm confident we'll have players in before the start of the season, yes," he continued. "We're involved in several players we are looking at and that will continue.
"Will we get them before the deadline? I hope so. But we're working very hard to do so."
