The striker has joined the newly promoted side on a one-year deal after falling out of favour at Arsenal, and becomes the Eagles' seventh signing of the summerCrystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has confirmed the signing of Marouane Chamakh on an initial one-year deal from Arsenal.
The striker becomes the newly promoted side's seventh arrival of the summer following Jose Campana, Stephen Dobbie, Dwight Gayle, Elliot Grandin, Kevin Phillips and Jerome Thomas.
Chamakh had been out of favour at the Emirates Stadium, joining West Ham on a six-month loan in January but failed to score in three appearances.
Signing for Arsenal on a free transfer in 2010 after impressing for Bordeaux in Ligue 1, Chamakh struggled for form and eventually lost his place in Arsene Wenger's side and was restricted to cup competitions last term.
The Morrocan will now compete with the likes of fellow new signings Phillips and Dobbie for first-team opportunities this season.
