Guarin targets Inter stay

The versatile midfielder is happy with life at his current club and has all but ruled out a move elsewhere this summer despite concrete interest from Premier League side Tottenham
Fredy Guarin has insisted he has no intention of leaving Inter this summer amid interest from clubs such as Tottenham and Monaco.

The Premier League side saw a £15.3 million bid rejected in June for the Colombia international while Monaco striker Radamel Falcao said he would love to see his compatriot join him at the Ligue 1 side.

Rumours suggested the highly rated 27-year-old could move away from the Nerazzurri in order to free up funds for summer signing, but Guarin has stressed that a transfer is not an option for him at this point.

"I see myself wearing the Inter jersey again this season. I’ve always seen myself with Inter," the midfielder told the official Inter website.

"From the moment I arrived I’ve only been focused on doing my best in this shirt. This isn’t the time to think about other teams.

"Right now I’m only thinking about Inter and having a good season with my team-mates."

Guarin has a contract with Inter until June 2016.
